Maine Coon - Scotty - Large - Adult - Male - Cat
Scotty is a big, sweet. lovable, kitten. He loves to play. He loves to be held, sit on a lap and be petted. He is a big boy and still growing. He is just now developing his mane and his fur is beginning to grow back in from being shaved. Even with all that he loves to talk and smiles all the time! Scotty was probably a back yard breeder cat who, when no longer useful, was dumped out the back door intact to fend for himself. He was immediately attacked at a feral colony and has lost the sight in one eye. He also developed allergies outside which we are treating now. And because he was attacked and bitten, he is FIV+ which makes him a special needs cat. Scotty MUST remain an indoor only cat. His immune system was compromised and if attacked again will most likely die. He is up to date on vaccines, neutered and has his claws. He would do well in a home with another FIV+ cat who is also laid back and has a sweet disposition. He lives in our office with a little female cat who is also partially blind. They get along very well. We would love to find Scotty a home with people who will love him forever and let him be a normal indoor cat.
